Dowloaded the new software but one crucial tab that has always been there is now missing. Plenty of DJs on different forums and Youtube videos are asking for this to be added back.

Sure bring it back! I never used it but I am sure many of you guys do!!

But it is weird that it was removed. I am just trying to figure out if they have other plans for the browse function. hmm interesting.

Maybe serato has tracked this feature throughout the years and are aware that the majority of DJs dont use it, so they removed it.

just guessing here, I can say personally that I never use it.

my guess is they are working on a match feature, something that is very popular, and very useful in both Engine and RB... i use it loads on my Prime 2.

Version 4.0.9 is still missing the BROWSE button in the library and the RESET button in the HISTORY panel—a very useful feature when we needed to "clear" the tracks that had been played.

To this day, I don't understand why the developers simply remove a feature that always worked and was used by so many people...

The reset button is still there. It just got moved to the settings ✌️

It's been around since ITCH. Furthermore, the RESET option in the history panel has also existed since the early days of Serato DJ. And then the developers go and remove the feature...

It’s still in SDJ Pro. Just been moved from the history panel to the settings area
