I use serato sample on every track that i do, and one of the things that i keep looking to do is lock the pads that i am using, there is no way to identify all the pads being used when using so many pads and that causes the user to unintentionally create unwanted pad sounds and mess up the chops, if we are able to lock the pads after we have created our chops this would be extremely helpful. the other implementation would be to copy and past settings from one Serato sample to another Serato Sample track this would also be helpful.

Totally agree! Locking pads after chopping would be a game-changer—I’ve run into similar issues while editing audio for my women's cotton sleepwear product videos. Copy-paste settings across Serato Sample instances would streamline the workflow big time. Hoping to see these in the next update!

Is it possible to add multiple samples? For example, being able to add a kick, snare or other sample to flip in the same sampler would be very useful.

Hello Serato Team,
I’m a Serato Sample user, and I wanted to share two feature ideas that I believe could improve the sampling workflow and open up new creative possibilities.
1. MP4 Video Support
I’d love to see Serato Sample support MP4 files containing both video and audio. When a user imports a video, the plugin could display the video alongside its audio waveform, allowing users to watch the footage while chopping and manipulating the audio.
I think this would be particularly useful for content creators, music producers, and people who make videos showcasing their sampling process. Being able to see the original footage while creating chops could make the experience more visual and engaging, especially for producers who share their creative process online.
2. Individual Stem Controls for Each Pad
Currently, stem separation controls apply to the entire Serato Sample instance. I’d love the ability to control stems independently for each sample pad.
For example, I could have:
* Pad 1 playing only the vocals.
* Pad 2 playing only the drums.
* Pad 3 playing the melody without the vocals.
* Pad 4 playing the full sample.
Ideally, each pad would remember its own stem configuration, allowing users to create entirely different samples from the same source audio.
I think this would significantly expand the creative possibilities of Serato Sample, making it easier to build custom drum patterns, rearrange melodies, and create more complex sample-based compositions without needing multiple plugin instances.
I understand that feature development takes time, but I wanted to share these ideas because I believe they could benefit other users as well.
Thank you for your time and for developing Serato Sample.
Best regards,
Martinez
