Serato Sample 1.4.1 graphic interface bug

Native version was released today and plugin loads OK - however the graphic interface is still laggy on the dials - reminds a bit of the behaviour on the non - native version run in Native Logic. Annoying. Running latest Logic Pro & Monterey.

Can confirm. In logic, graphics are choppy, and sometimes even audio glitches (samples continue for no reason).
That being said, in reaper everything works flawlessly, and it's amazing what this update brings.

Hey there,
Sorry the parameter issues continue to cause problems in Serato Sample when Logic Pro is run natively. I would continue to recommend using Logic Pro with Rosetta for now:

I'm aware of the parameter problems, but I haven't seen choppy graphics or audio glitches. Is this a new problem you've noticed with Sample 1.4.1? Are they new symptoms that did not occur with 1.4.0?
If you could please open a help request using the link below, that would really helpful:

Hopefully you can find a solution soon. I only run Logic in Rosetta for short periods of time for to use Serato Sample or Melodyne and honestly it's a serious PITA as pretty much everything else except ARA stuff works great native and even most of the older or abandonware stuff works smoothly through the plug-in Rosetta layer while Logic is running native. I have in many cases just used the DAW sampler instead although it doesn't have the fluent functionality SS does. As it stands, I would recommend anybody interested in Serato Sample to not buy it and save their money or spend it on different software.
I didn't, however, run into any audio glitches so far.

No audio glitches on my end, but none of the dials respond AT ALL to my attempts at manipulating them (Logic Pro X, latest MacOS). Also no click and drag on Tempo/Key-Shift, have to do x amount of individual clicks to change those.
In all honesty: Epic disappointment. I'm not asking for shiny new features that weren't included in the product when I bought it (looking at you, Stems). I just would like to use the product the way it was advertised, on what is now the de facto standard chipset in computers used by the majority of creative professionals. Is that a crazy expectation?
M1 chips have been around for almost 2.5 years now – so when a respected company like Serato keeps telling me to run my software in Rosetta (and sacrifice huge chunks of CPU performance where I need it most: in my DAW!) to use their hugely popular VST (priced at $149,- a pop), I'm not sure whether to laugh or put that license straight onto knobcloud and just move on with my life.

Correction: Dials to respond somewhat, just not responsive at all and behaving very erratically. So the update doesn't do what it says on the box.

Hey all,
A new version of Sample 1.4.1 was released today, to address the issue of glitch parameter controls, when running Serato Sample natively in Logic Pro X on Apple Silicon devices.
Please re-download 1.4.1 as per the article below:

Just wanted to confirm that the hotfix for 1.4.1 indeed fixes the UI issues in Logic Pro! Happy I can finally use Sample natively in Logic. Serato support was fast in answering my ticket about this two days ago, as usual.
Thank you Serato for fixing this, finally!
@fab15: I just checked, no window resize.

It is unfortunate that the interface is still laggy on the dials. Hopefully, the latest version of Logic Pro and Monterey will help improve the performance soon.
