Serato has abandoned us

It really sucks to shell out 99usd on a software while it's relegated to the background without any form of update in over a year to fix bugs and to add new features. Serato Sampler held so much promise, but sadly it's like it's been left to die. Wondering why serato studio get's all the love, when it's a free download. The one we paid for rather gets no attention and love.

I don't even need a stems update. I have koala sampler to do that with easy export to my Dropbox. I just want a proper update so I'm not using Rosetta stone

Koala is what I use too, especially starting in the phone. I would like to start from my daw however and be able to choose between algorithms. As it is, I don’t even use Sample. $100 invisible paper weight.

It really is disappointing. I got to love the Serato sample workflow through studio, then bought Sample to enjoy the same inspiring, breezy workflow in my DAW of choice. Turns out, it's totally unusable.

I really do hope the long time w/o update does mean they are hard at work behind the scenes to wow us all with a big 1.5 update, bringing stems & full native M1 compatibility. Fingers crossed.

Correction: Kind of missed the update that says it'd enable full Apple Silicon compatibility. Sad thing is, doesn't for me in Logic (latest MacOS and LPX versions).

re Logic Apple Silicon compatibility you should have or should get an email soon, but if you re-download Sample 1.4.1 now you should find that it is fixed.

I am still waiting for vst3 support. When I get a new MacBook this year, I won't be able to open any project with Serato Sample anymore (Cubase user).

It just puzzles me that people have been asking about this update for well over a year and still there is no vst3 support.

Hi John, cool to see someone from the company around here – it's been a while :D

I'm happy to report that the 1.4.1 hotfix indeed solved the UI problem that occurred running Sample in Logic Pro on Apple Silicon. Best sampler hands down, so glad I can finally use it in my DAW. Thank you!
