What up ya'll?

A few months back, if I'm not mistaken, I can remember some kind of a promise to give the new SL3 ASIO support, so we can all enjoy the fun of playing with another audio program in the background without having to connect another sound card or... rely on the onboard card...

So, I bought the SL3. Like many others, I need it to have ASIO support, coz the SL3 big competitor has ASIO AND 4 stereo outputs.

I mean, come on, what's the 411 rane - serato?

Hey JuVi,

Shouldn't be too far away now. We just need to be sure that the drivers are stable and up to scratch. :)

How come it is taking so incredibly long to bring out Asio/Core Audio drivers?
Any words on this topic?

Ha. You knew.

Firmware v2.30 will allow for compatibility with future Core Audio / ASIO drivers.

Only thing is... if "future" means that we're about to see a 'standalone' SL3 ASIO driver, how long will it take for it to be released? (a.k.a - how many N.I soundcards will be bought by confused serato users...?)

oh well....
