Serato DJ Lite - "Not connecting to Hardware" - Numark DJ2GO2 Touch

Hello all,

I got the Numark DJ2GO2 Touch controller a few days ago and i cannot get it to connect to Serato DJ Lite. Anytime i plug the controller into the computer USB port Serato gives me a message saying "Connection Error: Hardware cannot connect to Serato DJ Lite". Ive followed the troubleshoot guide (which is basically saying to adjust the sound settings on my PC) and everything seems to be correct but still the controller will not connect. Ive got a decent laptop which updates automatically (HP Pavillion 14, i5, Windows 11) so im really not sure why its not working.

Has anyone else had this problem and, if so, how did you manage to fix it? Im not really computer savvy, I just like playing tunes! Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi

I am also having a similar problem. I can play out other sound sources (Youtube, etc) from my laptop via my DJ2GO2, but Serato gives the same error as OP.

Controls light up, Pad Mode button seems to work, but nothing else.

Have also MIDI-mapped this controller through other software/hardware so I know the controls work.

Serato v3.0 fresh dl/install

Any help here greatly appreciated!

FYI:

I repaired the installation and it's working again
