in other words....yes, stems is coming to the next version of Serato Sample. But only after Serato DJ and Serato Studio.

Yes we are focusing on Serato DJ and Studio first but it is something we would love to add to Sample and hopefully can soon. We still have a very limited team working on Serato Sample, our main development teams are working on Serato DJ and Studio.

Just a heads up, we are currently hoping to get a small update out to support Apple Silicon natively and the new MacOS Ventura. This update might come out in the near future but it will not have Stems.

Cheers

Hey Rude_Movements,

Serato Sample does not yet support Apple M1 chips without running the host DAW under Rosetta (but we're working on this now). It sounds like you just need to open your host DAW under Rosetta.

I'm not sure which DAW you are using but this article tells you how to do this in Logic Pro (it's basically the same for all DAWs) : support.serato.com

Let me know if that helps,
Logan.

Thanks!

Thank you Logan, I will give it a try. I am using logic & Ableton

Still crickets for Apple silicon users... sad.

Correction, latest update said it'd fix that, so I guess it's out. Sadly still not really usable for me (latest MacOS + LPX on M1 Macbook).
