Hello, I believe with this update Serato will be the best sample plugin on the market!

My request is the ability to change the pitch detection key. At times the sample will detected the relative key and not the key that is in written on the audio file. This effects our workflow.

For example:
I put a splice loop that is in the minor scale and the pitch detection will use the relative major.
Another example, importing an 808 that is tuned to "C" and the auto pitch detection says "Am".

If we have the ability to click on the "key area" and type in the correct scale this will be a game changer.

I have been using Serato Sample for a while now and the latest update is amazing. However, I believe for this to be the best on the market, adding the ability to change the root note will be perfect. At times, the algorithm is incorrect when finding the right key (Might think it is a major and not a minor) , or wrong root note (+5 or -5 the correct note) which can be frustrating and effect someones workflow. When I compared it to other samplers from third party and other stock sampler DAWs, one thing I found is they all have the ability to change the root note. I truly believe by adding the ability to change to root note will be amazing and this will put it above other samplers.

Also, if possible, the ability to change scales (major/minor) will take it over the top as the best sampler on the market 100%.

I hope you take this into consideration as Serato sampler does not get as much updates compared to studio, however I am still grateful for the creation of Serato sampler to be used in other DAWs as a VST.
