-cue is your setting of where you want to start track. While track is played, when cue is pressed, stops track and returns to that cue. Hold cue down, will play track until released or play is pressed. Hot cue is for marking a spot on the track and during playback, can continuously play track while returning to hot cue point (think of it as an advanced cue setting).
-some what related. One is of a continuous playback.
-regular cue does not trigger a hot cue.
-regular cue is temp but normally saved until overrides by resetting the cue point.
