Please could you add a feature that turns off the auto chopping, when i press keys on my keyboard. I often get confused and frustrated when trying to make chops and the plugin automatically makes random chops for me because i have pressed a key on my keyboard, to test out chop combinations. (I'm not talking about the find samples feature).

Also could you add a new re-pitching mode, which allows the sample to get change length when re-pitching. This will allow 808s to be used in serato sample. (eg the 808 gets shorter when it increases in pitch, and vice versa)

Hi Tariq,

Can I ask you for more details on your first suggestion? If it’s not find samples, do you mean the keyboard shortcuts for pads? Are the cues created on wrong pads when you perhaps wanted to preview some existing cues but the pad labels were mismatching?

I gave a plus one because when a sample trigger cue is not assigned to a key - hitting a key by accident assigns a key you didnt want assigned.

For me if I have several samples, and Im plying them, I dont want any more assigned - yet. Then I have to go back and erase the ones I didnt want. Happens everytime.

I think thats what Tariq is saying.

AKIEM explained it pretty well. that's what i meant. i don't want to have to go back into serato to erase sample chops i didn't make, just because i tapped on my keyboard. In my opinion this feature slows down workflow, other samplers don't do this when you press the keyboard. thanks.

What he means is that he would like a lock mode where serato doesn't create new slices when a new key is pressed

Yes. Lock or at least a pop up indicator for sample range already in use. To confirm or delete.

As I mentioned before, if we can't get double of current samples (32), can we get link to another instance to daisy chain that can also include choke mode. And sidechain. 💪🏾

Yes to "lock mode". I always make a mess because I press/accidentally hit wrong keys.
