I'm changing jobs and have to give back my MacBook Pro 15" 2019 i7 back to my current employer.
I found an interesting offer for a MacBook Air 2020 i7 with 16 GB Ram. I was wondering if it would be fast enough to DJ with Serato video.
Most of my videos are either 720p or SD resolution.
Any advice?

not so much the cpu but the graphics card. iʻd stick to getting a mbp over an air.

It would be just fine with MixEmergency.
I ran all of my videos at 720p on a 2018 Air without any issues.

I was doing it with a 2011 & 2012 with SV and ME @ 720P
I'm on a 2019 16" i9 Macbook pro now.
There is more than enough power in that laptop to do it.
Can you get the detailed specs on it?

Of course! A MacBook Air 2020 with an i7 processor and 16GB of RAM should have more than enough capabilities to handle DJing with Serato Video, especially when working with 720p or SD resolution videos. However, it is important to verify Serato's system requirements and consider user experiences to ensure compatibility and optimal performance. It is always better to be thorough and informed before making a final decision. Happy DJing!
