Thanks for the feedback, we've had a few requests for this same thing and we can see how this would be useful. Although the flip side is that there also valid scenarios where you do actually want things mute/unmuted across your whole song. So we would have to find a way to support both workflows.

Regarding having to mute multiple decks to hear them together, a faster way is probably to 'Solo' Instruments together. The latest Studio update has the Solo button always showing, and if you click Solo with Command/Control held down it will add/remove Solos together.
