All 15 inch macbook pros have a dedicated graphics card. That is my recommendation.
The 13 inch models only have intel built in graphics. I wouldn't take the risk with those. However, technically they should be fast enough to do 1080p.
I use a 2012 15 inch macbook pro and it has been okay for HD and SD video.

Any 15” 2012 or later MacBook Pro will be plenty for Serato Video. I’m running a 15” Mid 2014 mbp which has intel & nvidia graphics card. I’m using less than 20% cpu with Video it’s a beast.

2x 512 so 1024 mb RAM. Most 15” models have 2 gig dedicated video card.

Considering buying this used 15” MacBook Pro.

Good enough?

Good laptop, but use it with Mix Emergency for video instead of the SV plugin.

Hi Guys,

Currently running an Alienware, but looking to make the move to Mac. Will the below be sufficient enough to run serato video? Also using denon sc5000 setup.

15" 2012
' 2.3Ghz Intel Core i7
' 16Gb 1333 ddr3 RAM
' 500gb 6gb/s SSD Storage
' Intel HD 4000 1536mb Graphics
NVIDIA GT 650M 512mb Graphics

If you go that route I HIGHLY recommend using MixEmergency - it will squeeze the most out of that 512MB gfx card.
