Dear Serato

I regularly need to Varispeed sounds by an exact number of semitones (as opposed to Pitch-shift). In the same manner as when you lay a sample out on a keyboard and it plays at precise musical intervals (without preserving the duration and thus without artifacts).

The only way to do this currently is to enter the semitones value in the pitch area, write down/remeber the percentage change, switch to varispeed mode and manually enter the percentage change (copy/paste also does not work for some reason). This is very slow when there are many of these operations to perform.

PnT is so good already if you added the ability to enter semitone values in varispeed mode it would really be a one-stop-shop for all pitch and time needs. This is a common function in many other pitch plug-ins and I would love to see this added in a future update.

Dear Serato, many users, including myself, often need to varispeed sounds by exact semitone intervals without altering duration or introducing artifacts, but currently the process is slow and cumbersome, requiring manual conversion from pitch values to percentage changes in varispeed mode; adding the ability to directly enter semitone values in varispeed mode, as many other pitch plugins allow, would make PnT a complete solution for both pitch and time adjustments, similar to how websites like stipendionettocalcolatore.it provide users with precise, user-friendly calculations for complex tasks, streamlining workflow and saving time.
