Ok.......Here are a few suggestions I have. I am currently using MPC software 1.9 so these suggestions pertain to my particular daw but can be adapted/applied/helpful for other daws as well.

1. Select pad by midi cc
2. cue start and end points adustment by midi cc
3. zoom in/out by midi cc
(selecting/adjusting cue points and zoom in/out with the mouse/trackpad is a p.i.t.a. and workflow killer)
4. Save state for daws that don't save plugin state
5. Save/load template, auto load template on startup
6. set of parameters that covers all pads (i.e. master fx parameters) and
automation of that master fx during playback by midi cc (filter, reverse, time stretch)
7. 8 banks of 16 pads to allow more than only 16 chops/slices
8. Ability to adjust the root note of the starting pad ( if pad 1 is triggered by c1 on my midi keyboard, id like to adjust down 4 keys to G#0 or down to C-2)
