I have the Pioneer S9. I just ordered 2 Rane Twelve that will be delivered Thursday 5th,. Just wanted to know what or how I would connect the Rane Twelve to my Pioneer S9. I have a MacBook Pro 10.3 version. Running 1.9.6. Mac only has 2 USB, one will be used by Mixer so I would think I may need a USB extender? Please help.

USB from 12s into MacBook running software in internal mode.

You’ll need 3 USB ports. A hub will run the decks fine but it’s recommended to run the mixer into a USB port on laptop not hub.

You could also investigate a thunderbolt to usb lead/converter?? But hub will do it. Rane X has a hub built into it.

When I connect my Rane 72 to my laptop it would come up only via USB port B never on A.
Port USB A Is never having mixer coming up while serato is updated & I run on Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6

trying to help a friend that is running mac high sierra, Serato DJ pro ver 2.0.3 using two twelve decks and seventy two mixer, deck one plays and scratches fine, deck 2 will play but will not scratch, Rane device set up window will not minimize or close. keeps popping up. if I switch deck 2 in deck one input deck works fine the issue is on deck 2 no matter what deck I plug in in deck 2 usb port also both decks are detected. please help.

Hello, I have finally received my turntables rane twelve and I encounter a problem with one of them that works at noon when it is connected to my mixer rane seventy-two on the other hand it works very well when plugging directly on my mac no problem.
I did several tests to find out if it did not come from my seventy-two mixer by plugging the other rane twelve with the same ones on other usb ports and no worries.
I also try to change usb cable but that does not change anything.
I also download midi midi software to see if the midi worked or not and I noticed that the software does not detect the deck when it connect to the table seventy-two (by cons no problem with the other turntables rane twelve which works very well when it is connected with the seventy-two table)

I really did all the tests to find out where the problem was coming from and I came to the following conclusion:

Ma rane twelve do not detect information at noon when connecting to the rane seventy-two table.
For rane twelve to work, it must be connected directly to the mac.

I'm using the latest version of serato dj 2.0.4 and my mac and a core i7 with 16 GB ram 2018
