Video advice

Hi,

after reading on here that mac is the only option for serato and that serato dont support intel 4000 chipset i thought I wouldn't bother with serato video but out of curiosity I downloaded the demo and it seems to work fine. I heard people saying they couldnt even get a picture but I've been mixing fine using dvs and an akai amx.

I have a HP2570p with 8 gig ram.

I am now considering buying the expansion but dont want to risk it if its going to start malfunctioning on me.

Why is it working ok and has anyone else ran it on a pc with intel integrated graphics card?

thank you for any help and to save you the trouble, yes i know mac is better :)

You must have been reading many outdated threads. Serato "can" work on PCs with intel cards. But it doesn't work very well performance isn't great and its 1 in 10,000 shot that you will own a PC that is just happends to work on.

If the demo works there no reason the full version wont work.

Play with it for a while. I bet it will do everything you need for 6 months, then once you get into video you will see other Video DJ's doing crazy things that you wont be able to figure out until you realize 2 things, 1 they are on a mac, 2 they are using ME.

But give it a try with what you got now.

Thanks for the reply. I tried running both decks and turned on all the video effects and added text etc and it didn't glitch so seems to handle it.

It's only really for putting together video mash ups with video samples to scratch in layering with existing video music tracks. Nothing too technical so doubt I'll need to be doing the crazy things you mentioned.

Thanks, muzka

Unlike the talking dolls or electronic pets of the past that only repeated a set of pre-recorded phrases, today’s smart toys can actually listen, respond, and adapt to the learning pace of each child. Imagine a robot that helps a child practice pronunciation in a foreign language, or a smart teddy bear that tells personalized bedtime stories based on the child’s interests. Some AI learning toys can even track progress, identify areas where the child struggles, and design new games or exercises to strengthen those weak points. These toys are becoming a hit because they provide individualized learning, something that even classrooms sometimes cannot manage.
