Hello I am using the 1.6.3 version of Serato DJ, and the 2.4.4 version of SL and I am not able to use the auto bpm function for my effects on my mixer. I have to constantly tap the tap button to get the proper BPM.

You need to update your firmware on the mixer --> dj.rane.com

I have the same problem, but if I update the firmware I can not work with scratch live!!!

I would try rolling back your firmware then reinstalling to the newest firmware. That worked for me on 3 Rane 62's that I use at home and in 2 club installs. Please look at the link that Zack gave out. ---> dj.rane.com

I'm having the same issue w my 61 i tried updating the firmware but it doesn't allow me too.. currently on firmware 1.12

There is no built in effects on the 61 that would need to be synced. If the internal effects aren't in sync you may need to analyze your files in order to get the bpm of the files added to them.

did that my files are analyzed.. its the general effects that serato dj comes with.. i run them through the flex efx button on each channel.. i use the echo alot it sounds horribly off beat.

Serato adds the new help threads to a cue and they get divided up amongst their support teams. Someone should respond shortly.

Did anyone settle this issue? I have Rane 61. SDJ 1.7, my Flex FX BPM always has to be tapped. Even though I have all my tracks analyzed. What setting am I missing?

Hey guys..

I'm looking into this.

At this point, I would like everyone to update to 1.7.3 and update the firmware for their 61's.
Report back with your findings.

theres no firmware update.. the latest is 1.12

This has been confirmed as a bug in SDJ. This should work in SSL though.

I updated the firmware in my 61 and still have the issue I have to tap to beat synch it.. Since it's a bug will it be fixed considering the 61 is being discontinued.

The bug isn't in the 61 but rather the Serato software. It will be fixed in SDJ.
To confirm.. this IS still happening when using Scratch Live 2.5?
