We have removed the ability to see serial numbers in the products page as they are no longer needed - you do not need a serial number to activate Serato DJ.

You should be able to log into the MY SERATO panel inside of the software with your correct email address and password and the software will activate.

1. Ensure you have your Serato DJ Intro controller connected.
2. Open Serato DJ.
3. Click the BUY/ACTIVATE button in the license panel on the right hand side.
4. Use your existing serato.com or whitelabel.net user account login email and password to login.
5. Select the controller and click on ACTIVATE to activate Serato DJ on your computer.

Once you have activated the software, you can deactivate and activate your licenses by clicking the MY SERATO button in the license panel. Here you can deactivate Serato DJ, in order to activate Serato DJ on another computer.

Thanks for the reply.
I tried that and still no dice. I'll give you more background info to see if you can spot where the problem might be:
First time I bought SeratoDJ was on my old Macbook, and using a Mixtrack Pro.
This year, I bought a Pioneer DDJ-SR, and also changed to a slightly newer Macbook. Everything works with the DDJ-SR and the newer Macbook... but the problem came to be when I tried using my Mixrack Pro with the newer Macbook. Logging in with my email and password doesn't activate Serato, and that's where I'm stuck.

Any fresh ideas?

I would like you to try removing your Serato DJ license file. This will refresh your Serato DJ license and help with any activation issues. First of all, can you close all Serato applications, then please navigate to: ~User/Library/Application Support/Serato/Licences - and delete the “dj.lic" file located in that folder.

Please note: The User Library may be hidden on OSX 10.7 and later versions. To show the User Library, click on the desktop and select “GO” from the Menu Bar at the top of the screen. While the GO menu is open, hold the Option (Alt) key on your keyboard and you will see a “Library” option appear in the list. This is how to access the hidden User Library folder, you are then able to navigate to the location listed above.

After the file is deleted, please do a full reinstall of Serato DJ software with your hardware connected. The latest version of Serato DJ can be downloaded here > serato.com.

Let me know how you get on activating now.
