I think it would be really very helpful to be able to record the mic input directly into the Serato DJ recording without the need for using Audacity or any other external program. I just learned that Serato DJ doesn't record the mic info the hard way. I recorded a wedding for a client last weekend and just found out their ceremony and toasts weren't recorded. What is the reasoning for this not being an option? The mic input goes through the mixer, doesn't seem like it would be hard to include it in with the recording. This was a real bummer to find out, hopefully you guys can work on this and add it to the next update.

Just wondering if anybody at Serato would consider allowing the mic to be recorded within Serato DJ?

Hi THC_Electra,

This is a limitation of the DDJ-SX and the way its been wired. This won't be able to be included in an update.
