No Master Gain
What features would you like to see in Serato software?

No Master Gain

I always had problems with Scratch Live being too loud for my mixer (Roland DJ1000), but the turning the master gain down helped although the levels where still high. With Serato DJ there seems to be no master gain and my mixer is in the red most of the time.

Will you be adding a master gain any time soon?

I am also missing this, I had the Serato outputs set to match with my mixer's gains at 12'o clock.

there is one when using a DDJSX. Is there not when u use an SL2,3,4?

Master gain would be such a nice feature. I am not liking how hot the output is.

Hey Guys,

Any update on Master Gain? I still use SSL with my SL3 primarily and I have manually adjusted all of my gain settings on each MP3, then "locked" the files via "read-only"mode in the file system. When I use my SL3 with SDJ, all of the files are way too loud. When I use my DDJ-SX, I can just tweak the master volume down since that option appears with that device.

I hope you guys can bring this back. It would be a lifesaver!

Ah, so it is! It doesn't seem to globally affect MP3 gains though as it does in SSL. :(

Any other way you can think of to match pre-saved gains between SSL and SDJ to be identical?

They won't be identical and no way to bring it over from SSL to SDJ i don't believe. I moved my archive over to SDJ and just reran the the entire archive through it so that it will be set for use in SDJ.
