Thank you for your advice it was actually REALLY HELPFUL! however this IS A KNOWN issue since 2012 that hasn't been fixed. so i figure I should just request a refund.

I emailed them a couple of time to Sales@serato.com but no response from them.

hello , can you help with this problem please ... i see a lot of people with vestax vci 400dj have the same problem and dont have answer....... when i work with serato dj 1.6.3 and start to mix its ok BUT when i put vci400 on stand along mixer starts alot of click and pops on audio .....then i put it normal 4 channel mixer for serato works good .... the problem is when i turn on mixer stan along to open mic or line inputs....please help with this
