Just downloaded Serato DJ a few hours ago because I wanted the new FX. The first issue I encountered was the master volume knob on the top of the controller and the master volume in the program weren't linked. (I can turn each up individually). Also the red LEDs that show your levels aren't working properly.
-The deck gain knob and the gain in the software also have this problem.
-Slip button doesn't work on the controller
-Cant change the FX with the FX Select knob, Must be changed from within the software.
I"m sure there is more but this is what iI've come up with so far.

I really hope they fix Serato DJ for ns6 because its ALOT of money for that mixer. The FX is a huge issue.

Are you all having this same issue?
-Slip button doesn't work on the controller
-Cant change the FX with the FX Select knob, Must be changed from within the software.
If you run into an issue in Serato DJ that is affecting your performance, I would recommend using one of the latest versions of ITCH (for the time being):

It seem that the NS6 doesnt have this problem across the board so i think its something fixable. Also i purchased the new FX for SDJ so im not interested in using ITCH if i dont have too.

Did anyone else sort this out as I've just updated to Serato Dj and am having the same following problems
Master Volume on NS6 and Serato DJ not linked - both work independently
Gain volume on NS6 and Serato DJ not linked - both work independently
When using effects you cannot select which effect from the NS6 anymore as you could with itch. It seems that maybe the controls are incorrectly mapped?
Could do with some help please as I'm itching to get going on Serato Dj but its too fiddley at the moment, constantly having to use the laptop directly, it kind of defeats the object of having a separate controller
Thanks folks, much appreciated

You have to take a look at the PDF for the SDJ mappings as some functions have changed in order to be implemented. Quickstart guide: serato.com
The issue with the gains have been discussed before also, have a search of the forums. Having your tracks autogained should minimize the use of gains anyway.

I have this issue as well. For example, you have to manually go into the FX menu in Serato DJ and click (increase/advance) the delay adjustment knob for the delay effect to work. You can't control this from the NS6 controller. Please fix.

Besides everything that was already said I'm having another annoying issue. The volume for my headphone cue apparently has 2 settings quiet as a pin drop and deafeningly loud. The tipping point where the headphones start to SCREAM is at about 3 o'clock on the volume knob. Anyone ever experience this problem or hear of a solution? Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Vinny,
The deck gain knob and the gain in the software also have this problem. This is just the way the new Serato DJ program works.
-Slip button doesn't work on the controller - Does pressing "shift" and "scratch" buttons engage slip mode for you?
-Cant change the FX with the FX Select knob, Must be changed from within the software - Try holding shift and using the FX select knob.
I"m sure there is more but this is what iI've come up with so far.
