i think that when you move a track to a new crate it should be removed from the list in the other crate...

Having this as an option, isn't bad as long as you can turn it on and off to suit your needs. I think it may have been covered already, not sure.

Nice idea. It would be good to have the ability to both move and copy a track from one crate to another.

maybe a keyboard shortcut? like in os x, holding down the option key and dragging a file is copy but holding the apple key and dragging a file is move.

Good idea, like in windows explorer holding the shift key while drap and drop will make the file move instead of copying.

What about a right button activation ? Like in Windows Explorer ...
Move the file with right button, and when release, purpose "Move here", or "Copy here" .
