I am a hip hop Dj and have been getting into the house scene lately. I've been doing my homework and have been learning how to differentiate between the different types of house music. I know how to use the knobs to have a smooth clean transition, my question is does anyone have any other tips or tricks for mixing house music?

One tip - when the drums drop out and the synth line comes in - point your arms toward the ceiling at a 45 degree angle and just stand there like you really did something amazing... farm1.static.flickr.com

If you can do that - nothing else really matters with that type of music...
