Courses Scratch Academy offer…

Professional Track Learn more

Scratch Academy’s most intensive offering, the Professional Track is designed for beginner students committed to becoming a working DJ and producer in a condensed timeframe.

  • Like our Certification Track, the Professional Track includes training in a variety of mixing, scratching, and music production techniques. Curriculum is built from our DJ101, M202, M303, M404, S202, S303, MP101 & MP202 classes.

Professional Track students meet twice weekly (vs. once in other courses) for a period of 25 weeks. With a guaranteed small group setting, the program is highly customizable.

As added benefits, our Professional Track students have the option to participate in the Scratch DJ Academy Internship program, granting the opportunity to:

    • Be officially evaluated by the Scratch talent staff for paid booking opportunities through all divisions of Scratch Music Group
    • Play feature role in Scratch digital video content
    • Perform at Scratch events at famed venues like Webster Hall, Pacha, & House of Blues
    • Represent Scratch at a variety of brand-building events like Governor’s Ball, Electric Zoo & Afropunk

Upon completion, Professional Track grads will have created an electronic press kit (bio, resume, and demo) and will have received all necessary training to be performance ready for a wide array of events.
