C++ Software Developer

Serato is looking for a talented software developer with a university degree in computer science or software engineering to join our team.

Key skills:

  • C++
  • Experience with multi-threaded programming
  • Ability to plan, organise, prioritise tasks & activities to meet agreed deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Initiative & problem solving skills

The successful candidate will have an interest in some or all of the following:

  • Music, audio engineering, DJing, the music industry
  • MP3, audio effects, digital signal processing.
  • User interface design

Knowledge and experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

  • PHP and HTML
  • SQL
  • XML
  • GUI programming
  • Mac OS X Carbon and Core Foundation APIs
  • Win32/MFC
  • USB development
  • ASIO drivers
  • CoreAudio drivers
  • Plug-in architectures


Contract device driver software engineer (C/C++)

Serato is looking for a contract software engineer to create device drivers for high-performance audio hardware.

Key skills

  • Experience developing low latency ASIO, CoreAudio and WDM drivers
  • Solid C/C++ programming experience

Knowledge and experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

  • Audio hardware driver development
  • USB development
  • Firmware development
  • Embedded systems development

 

Contract Translator

Serato is currently looking for people to translate technical documents from English into the following languages:

  • German
  • Japanese
  • Spanish
  • Chinese
  • Korean
  • French
  • Italian
  • Russian

Other languages will also be considered.

Successful candidates will ideally have:

  • Experience translating technical documents
  • Experience using audio software
  • DJing and DJ product knowledge

Due to the contract nature of this role, successful applicants do not necessarily need to be based in New Zealand.
