Video-SL version 1.0.1 (build 10102)
This version of Video-SL contains fixes for a few bugs and compatibility issues identified in version 1.0.0. Please read the release notes carefully before downloading.
Bugs fixed
Whitescreens
Graphics cards previously affected by the white screen bug should now work.
V-Sync
Those cards that don't support V-Sync now have a software solution which will reduce CPU load.
Scrolling in effect selection
The scrollbars now work with the mouse when selecting effects.
Scratch Fader
The Scratch Fader is now much finer (closer to the 57's fast contour curve).
Disabled Effects
Some effects were incorrectly disabled on some computers (in particular on the Macbook). These have been fixed so the effect list is now correct.
Known issues
Vista Video Drivers
There are some Vista graphics cards (in particular Intel chipsets) that cannot be supported due to missing driver components. This will manifest itself by blocks appearing on the GUI instead of text.
Windows scroll wheel does not work
The mouse scroll wheel does not work in the effect selection box on Windows.
Known Issues that will be fixed in Scratch Live 1.8.1
Reverse faders / Hamster styleWork around: the reverse fader status will work when in group 5 on the TTM 57SL and be remembered in other groups. Changing to Group 5, setting reverse to be as desired and then moving to other groups should work
iTunes library issues
Some users are reporting some issues with movies in the iTunes library.
Video import crashes
Certain video codecs are causing crashes on import.
Contoured fader support
The Scratch Fader has been improved. Properly contoured faders will be a feature in Video-SL 1.1 and Scratch Live 1.8.1
Cue points and overviews on external drives
Cue points and overviews for videos on external drives are not saving correctly. The workaround is to play videos off of your internal drive.
