sure...

this was in the Top of The Mark in San Francisco. 19th floor, almost 360 degree view of the city. Sun had just set when I started.

Started off soulful, got some heads nodding. People were dancing by the time I hit the Beach Boys. The wedding party and many of the guests were Dead Heads so we were in full swing by Shakedown Street. The jewel of the night was dropping Double Rain-more and watching the whole place loose their lids. Kept up the momentum through Shhhake It Up and switched up the pace with the Flaming Lips mix.
From there we were on a grinding mission for a little set. The Bill Withers song was in the ceremony so that one strummed the heart strings and High Tide Or Low Tide had people singing and swaying.
Switched up the pace again with the Rick James into Damian Marley into Bob Marley into Blind Melon, kept it hippie for second with the Phish cut into which I mixed the Noah D dubstep track and un-officially started the Phish-Step movement. That was a banger so I cooled it out with the Moldy Peaches track, up again with the Manu Chao and right into a slow dance set, reliving some high school memories with the Peter Cetera (yes, I was using my Crane Stand and busted a Crane Stand pose for the OG Karate Kid). Closed out the set with some Hip Hop and ultimately some MJ which had them begging for more. So I encored with Jerry Garcia "How Sweet It Is" from the ipod (not shown) which was the other song from the ceremony.

By that time we were getting kicked out of the place and took the party to the honeymoon suite until 5AM.

I had access to the Bride and Grooms ipod before hand so I knew what they listened to and therefore nailed it with everyone of these songs. Nice to be able to play such an eclectic mix and string it altogether. Plus I got paid very well to top it off.

cake just happened during the music, we had something planned but they just did it without an annoucement

all that happened pretty quick though as most people were in full party mode

all kinds of things in this set. if you want to know anything specific, I'll tell you exactly where I got it. a lot of these are music videos too.

I'm a member of Smashvidz, Xtendamix, my12inch, and Franchise. I buy from itunes and amazon if it isn't on any of those.

I also have a huge CD collection I rip from.
