Serato is happy to anounce the release of Scratch Live 2.3.3, a new maintenance and bug fix release for all SSL DJs. Serato Product Manager, Nick, gives the latest version of Scratch Live one final test before release.
Nick uses the Novation Dicers for cues and loops, as well as the Vestax VFX-1 for DJ-FX control.
Cool music in this video eh? Two of our office favourites have their tracks in this vid.
Loefah - Disko Rekah (Deep Medi)
This is one of the first dubstep songs we played over and over and over again in the office when it came out a few years ago. Such a killer tune, and Loefah (UK) is such an incredible producer, we've never gotten sick of it. If you like the sound of this, you should check out Loefah's other tunes, as well as the tunes on his label, Swamp81. Swamp81 is leading the way at the moment, putting out some seriously future tunes from the likes of Ramadanaman, The Bug, Addison Groove, Joy Orbison, Boddika and more.
Jellphonic - Smack (Fingertips)
Jellphonic is a producer from New Zealand who makes the most undergound heaters. This track, Smack, was recently featured on the hugely popular "Hit It and Quit It Radio Revue" Serato Pressing. Jelly often gives away tunes for free, and has previously had releases on Clone Records and Wonderful Noise. Check out his Soundcloud here.
