Mac OSX - Is there a TagScanner Equivalent?

I know this has been asked before but as of 2013 I don't know what's up to date. I just got a Retina MacBook & I'm coming as a experienced TagScanner user on Windows.

I don't want to use iTunes so please don't mention it (I have my reasons ha)

I need something (like tagscanner) that can batch change multiple files at once. Auto Capitalize and having custom functions like telling it to change feat to Ft., dj to DJ and things of that nature.

Is there anything out there that works like this?

I like tagscanner and also looking for an exact mac os version.
No luck.
Currently Running Windows 8 on the Imac to use tagscanner.

Just tried using winebottler and sometimes it works and it doesnt.

Care to provide tip or tricks?

i would pay for TagScanner for man. Sucks launching a VM just to run a 800kb app.

Hi YZ I'm running Tag Scanner on Lion an d Mavericks DP3 all you have to do is go to the main page of Wine and choose the Link "PlayonMac" you get a file called WineBottlerCombo_1.6-rc3.dmg.
you drag both programs to the apps folder and then you are able to install your windows apps. I have only tried AcDsee 5.0, Tag Scanner and VisiPics. All successful.

Forgot to mention another program CrossOver, which is based on Wine, is commercial but you can try it for free.

can you please mention how exactly it works with TagScanner? I've installed Wine and stuff. TS installed and I can even start it, but can't add any files\folders to start work. It just rejects it.

I Tried Using Tagscanner On My Mac Using The Wine Bottle Program. It Rarely Works. Tagscanner Is The Only Reason I Hold On To A PC Laptop. I Tried Using Other Program For My Tagging But Nothing Comes Close To Tagscanner.

Yeah wish they did have it for OSX but I still use mine running VirtualBox/Windows 8 and it still works.

To install Wine on Mac, follow this very helpful tutorial: www.davidbaumgold.com

I've been using this to set-up Wine and run Tagscanner for almost 10 years now.
