How do I load stuff on to my SP-6 player on Serato DJ?

Read the manual. If that doesn't help, drag and stop the audio files to each slot in the sp6 window within the software

Found the solution to your problem. I actually thought Serato did not support dropping in samples from songs, but to my surprise they actually DO!

What you do is take a loop of a particular song that you like then bookmark it by pressing the plus button found under the 4 (or 8) cue point section. (notice i am in horizontal view). Once you have the loop saved in the pan you drag the loop from the pan into the SP-6 player. Now you have a live sample from a song you just spliced.

Hope thats enough clarification

You can also play from any saved cue points and loops as an option with the SP-6. This is available in advanced mode and will only show up (between the two < and > arrows) if you actually have cue points/loops set/saved.

If you have a 4 channel controller, assign the sp-6 to an unused channel, then you can use effects on the sample too :-)

Don't really understand the above but I was wondering how do you switch sp6 decks without mouse? I use a ddj sx but can seem to figure out how to switch sp6 decks.
