Best way to Connect your controller to macbook pro

I know there is the standard Usb 2 a-b connector but im having problems with my left deck on my ddj-sx controller and was thinking the cable might be playing up (this is after returning my laptop 2 times) So the real question is are there anyways to connect the controller through the thunderbolt port ?? If so has anyone got any links to anywhere that may be selling it.

Thanks

How sure are you it's not a controller problem?
Anyways, this looks pretty sweet and should work (if you got the cash for it)

On my Macbook Pro, I select the USB port closest to the power (so the one on the left if you look at the side of your MBPro).

Make sure you use the following steps when you are ready to use your DDJ-SX:
1. Open Serato DJ
2. Plug the USB into your MacBook Pro
3. Turn the power on your DDJ-SX

Don't do these out of order if you are having problems... I have had weird things happen when I don't, like the FX not turning off no matter what

I have the same issues if connect up my NS6 in a different order.
Basically I have to connect my controller after SDJ has started otherwise fx don't switch off or even sometimes the fx completely mutes channels when they're turned on.
