Happen to own the LPD8 and use it with Serato DJ?
With the resent offer on free Serato DJ upgrade with MTP/LPD8, I assume there are a bunch of people with this combo now.
I'm curious, what do you use the LPD8 for? What do have mapped?

I hate not being able to edit posts on here. I meant to ask "what do YOU have mapped?" :o)

I mapped 4 Layers on 2 LPD8.
Layer 1: 8 Buttons Direct Loop for each Deck, Knobs for Start Break, Stop Break, Master Gain, etc.
Layer 2: 4 Direct Cue Buttons, 4 Buttons for saved Loops
Layer 3: Sampler Sync, Switching to different Layouts
Layer 4: Video Effekts, Text and Picture, etc.

Do you want to know the way, to map 4 Layers or do you want to know what I've exactly map on every Button / Knob?

Press Button "Program" , Padbutton 1 - 4 (in the second line) and the Button "PAD" to go back to the normal mode.
In the LPD Editor, you can give every Button / Knob on every Layer a dedicated unique MIDI-Adress ... or for some knobs the same Adress on different Layers. I use this, because I want to have the Video-Channel Fader on the same knob at different Layers.

You got me interested in the MIDI panel now.
I've been bonked with how to use the LPD8 with SDJ, haha. I have a solid mapping setup for Traktor when I'm on the go and want to have a mess around without a controller, but using it with my NS6 and SDJ is weird.
I've tried mapping the SP6 to one layer, FX to the knobs, and having another layer to help control effects as the NS6 is built for ITCH FX, not SDJ.
I think I might remap it soon so I have control of Slip mode on pads 4-8, both sets of FX buttons 2 and 3 on pads 1-4, and FX 2 and 3 on some of the knobs.

Deck 1 ... 4LoopRoll
Deck 2.... 4LoopRoll and the possibility to choose the size of each
