Programmable keyboards?

Okay I attempted a search on this but couldn't find anything. Can Searto work with programmable keyboards? I have found a couple of keyboards that are fully programmable and only feature 24 keys. If you programmed Key commands into it and then ran with your laptop would it be able to integrate with Serato?

Im looking at buying their 58 key fully programmable keyboard. you can get a USB or PS2 version. Mine should be here in a couple of weeks. A programmable keypad is the way ahead, especially with all the bells and whistles that are in SSL. Beats farting around on the keyboard short cuts. Too time consuming, too fiddly, and too risky that you might hit the wrong combination of keys and stop the music.
