My Serato has started re-reading my tags (about 20% of them by the look of it, not confined to any single crate or location) every time I open the program. I've run chkdsk and found no errors, tried moving everything into a different crate, and just upgraded from 1.8.0 to 1.8.1 but the problem remains.
Anyone had this before or know how I can fix it?
Cheers

Oh I've also made sure my mp3s aren't read only, and I've tried ctrl + clicking on the reread tags button in the setup screen.

Hi BassNZ, I suggest trying the RC 2 Beta version of 1.8.2, you can download it here: www.serato.com
Let me know if you still have this problem after installing it. Chur.

Thanks for trying 1.8.2., now that we discarded that option, please rename your databaseV2 file, which is located inside your ScratchLIVE folder (which is inside your My Music folder). If you're using an external hard drive, you'll have to rename the databaseV2 file in there as well.
Just rename them to anything (like databaseV2_old), and this will make Scratch LIVE create a fresh database file. This should solve this issue. Let us know how it goes. Cheers.
