DJ’s are you ready for DMC Online 2013!?

DMC pioneers of the DMC World DJ Championships broke the boundaries of the DJ World once again in 2011 when launching the enormously successful DMC Online DJ Championships. We now head into Year 3!

The Online DJ Championship is an annual event which promises to secure the art of the DJ for years to come placing it before a global audience and opening the DMC competing arena to every DJ in the world.

The Worlds most creative DJs are now preparing to take part in the biggest online DJ competition in the world! The 2013 Online DJ Championship launches in March 2013.

There are no limitations on the equipment the DJs wish to use in their performances. The format of the Online Championships will commence with contestants uploading their filmed two minute performance followed by two week public voting. The public’s short list will then be judged by DMC World Champions who will vote their winners from each round which will then go through to the Online Final.

In the Online Final, the last DJs standing will require to upload a full 6 minute set with public voting leading to the ten most popular who will then be judged by former DMC World Champions.

Any DJ or aspiring DJ can now take part in the biggest online DJ competition in the world.

How it works:
Stage 1: DJs upload a filmed 2 minute performance.
Stage 2: Over two weeks the public voting decides the best ten DJs.
Stage 3: The Top 10 are judged by DMC World Champ DJs who decide which 2 or 3 DJs from each round to go through to the Online Final.
Stage 4: After 9 x 2 week heats, the DJ Finalists must upload their full 6 minute performance for the final.
Stage 5: The public once again decide their Top 10.
Stage 6: All DMC World Champions are invited to vote to decide who is to become the DMC Online DJ Champion 2013.

We are proud to say there is no more respected company in the world amongst DJs and their millions of fans. There is no better DJ Competition than the DMC WORLD DJ CHAMPIONSHIPS and no better DJs prowling the earth than our National and World Champions.

This DMC event takes us into territories we have never visited before. The world is now truly in focus and it may surprise you to notice how many great DJs are rushing towards the Online Championship who have never before had this opportunity. And with them come their fans and supporting friends.

We are very excited about year 3 of the DMC Online DJ Championship which is scheduled to commence in March.

Remember, if you want to win, use the LAMEST hyper fast techno you can find. Stay away from HIP HOP at all cost. Be bland as possible. Do not be confident that you are the best. Fall on the mercy of the JUDGES? Do these things and you will win. Just ask Izoh and Precision...........

You know the DMC's never started out as a Hip Hop battle comp.

Whilst I prefer the Hip Hop routines, mashing genres in a creative and musical way is quite interesting to watch and hear.

I KNOW DMC stands for DISCO MIX COMPETITION. My point is dudes use the same handful of techno records doing the same fast ass scratches with that blank ass look on their face, ALL THE FUCKING TIME. I remember when people would use ALL types of music in their sets to show of their MIXING skills as well as their scratching skills. If they mix it up some it would be worth listening to. I can't bear to watch Izoh's routine. Maybe if Precision throws in some MORE body tricks than the few he does (it's like he does them just so you know he can do them), and played trash techno he could win. Have you watched his set and Izoh set? How can you even HEAR what Izoh is doing? Even when Craze played techno he chopped it up and slowed it down so you could hear what he was doing and how clean he was. Fast is good, but you shouldn't win shit just because you're fast. DJ Dummy is fast, but how many people outside of DJ's can really hear what he's doing? Just MY opinion.
