Can a controller be used with Serato Scratch Live?

I've been using Scratch Live with 1200s for about 5 years now and I wanted to get a controller to use for smaller gigs.
Can Scratch Live be used with a controller and would it be "plug & play? Or would I have to get Serato DJ?
And would I be able to have both of these on my Mac Book Pro and use the same library of music without any conflicts?
Thanks in advance for any help!

There is no controller currently certified to work plug and play with Scratch Live, but there are a few unofficial controllers that claim to work. I would strongly recommend serato dj.
Yes, scratch live, serato intro, itch and serato dj all use the same library. When used individually, you can have every version of serato on one laptop with no conflict what so ever.
