Is there an HDMI splitter that will maintain the handshake between all connected computers.... Not just the active source. Meaning it will allow two computers connected to not loose "secondary monitor" status when the splitter switches between inputs.

I have not personally tried this one but have heard good things about it. You might want to call their tech support just to confirm it has genlock on it.

I have a monoprice one which I do it for you. The reason i think so. both my apple TV and BlueRay DVD player when plugged into my TV recognize when the TV switches to the input they are plugged into. I needed more HDMI's so both of those where moved onto the mono Price. when I switch my TV to the input that has the mono price plugged in both units (DVD and Apple TV) automatically turn on. So with that info I would say its worth looking into.

What you need is an HDMI Matrix because you have multiple HDMI inputs and outputs.
