Can I use the internal echo effect post fader on my 61? How do I do it? I'm not too savvy with midi and mapping; I just want to echo out from one track to another.

Yes you can :)

in that link theres information on how to do it on a sixty-eight, it should be the exakt same procedure on the sixty-one :)
