Hi,
I want an option so that SSL does not try to check certain drives/partition which I dont want SSL to touch (or write on) at all. I dont want SSL to put a ".ScratchLive" folder on each of my partitions! Also I dont want SSL to scan (and/or wrtite on) all of my network folder/drives, I think this makes sense.

Scratch LIVE only makes a folder on a drive if you actually import mp3s from that drive, and scanning of each drive is done is a separate thread so an unresponsive drive like a network server never slows down loading the program.
It's a good suggestion though - we'll look for a way to integrate this.

Well, I am pretty sure I havent imported anything from my "D:" drive, and still I got a ".ScrachLive" folder on it.

hmmm also being able to exclude system folders etc etc would be good, they're a labyrinth!

Sorry, I got the proof here, this is then definitly a bug, I have a network share here, which I never opened inside SSL and SSL put a ".ScratchLive" folder there. Please fix that! Thanks...

why does it make a difference? the .ScratchLive folder does not affect your harddrive in any way....or does it?

Josh, exactly.
feniks, I dont want SSL to mess my networkdrives, because its not only me accessin g the network drives, in other words, I share the network drives with others and 'I dont think its a good idea if every user just throws a (even if its empty) folder here and ther ;-)
