I just played with Serato video yesterday and I wanted to know if there is a way to still mix and play videos in hamster? I mix and scratch in hamster mode but when I try it with Serato video it doesn't allow the video to play in hamster. Now this was on a rane 62 mixer. I haven't tried it on a 57 or anything else. Is it a mixer issue? Video sl does work in hamster mode on the 57 but I'm not sure if Serato video works in hamster on any mixer. Any input would be nice thanks!

Hi K-Swift,

I believe this is specific to the Sixty-two mixer and here is the workaround for this problem until we get it sorted out for all our hamster users.

Open Scratch Live and Serato Video,
Go to the Scratch Live > setup > Hardware tab > allow midi assignment.
Click back to main window. Open video panel
Click the "F" to reveal the fader panel. Un-select the "Fader" button.
Click the midi button,
While holding the "Tab" Key on your keyboard click the Serato Video cross fader to Midi assign.
This should reverse the video streams on the cross fader.
