There was a less extreme version of this with an Ad campaign here in NZ. The guy is a famous All Black (Our national Rugby Team). Spot the problem :-)

Guess the stock image company blew their budget on hiring the model with the rack and didn't have any money left over for trivial things like slipmats, vinyl, and cartridges.

Scary thing is most non DJ's won't even notice.

Even scarier is that this cleared any sort of marketing team and people are actively using it to promote products/services.

does anybody know where this ad is being run (i.e. internet, print, etc.)

horrible ad. doesn't speak to the smirnoff brand and jumping on the DJ bandwagon...so 2000 and late. ad agency (or marketing) needs to be fired.

I saw this come up on facebook through the "master of the mix" page... they seem to have taken it down and issued an apology!
