Better Tempo/Waveform display

I have been Serato for some time and recently got exposed to Virtual DJ. I have to say it's not a bad software. Mostly because the Temp/Waveform display is so clean and clear. I am not sure about other Dj’s but many tracks I spin on get so busy in the Waveform that I don't even bother using it. Is there any hope... to improve the display and make it simpler? DO we need the entire electrograph look... how about a simpler look to catch your snare and bass? Just a thought... In addition I know this product is geared towards old school Dj’s but Virtual Dj sells hot a lot more because of its sync functionality... sometime you just want the music to sync up on its own... No one said you have to use it that way but the function should be there...I just think it may help you capture more of an audience...

never had any issues with my waveform displays. In fact I think I'm opposite, I like all the information it scrolls.

Same here, I think VDJ's are nasty. Hummm, multi-colored frequency based waveforms, or mono-colored, non-detailed, overlapping 1/2 waveforms. Humm, let me think...

Yes, we do. The waveforms aren't just random colors, they actually mean something. The colors represents the frequencies. Red = low/bass, green = mid/snares, blue = highs/treble. By that logic, it should be easier to differentiate snares and bass with SSL's waveform than VDJ's.

That is why Serato is making ITCH.
