Will this computer specs work with DJ Intro and Typhoon?

I know this is not a standard computer for Serato and will not support this type of processor. But I am eager to get one if it will work. I just saw this laptop at a computer store.


Intel® Celeron® Processor 877 (1.4GHz, 2MB L3 cache)
2GB DDR3 SDRAM
320GB hard drive
11.6" HD Widescreen CineCrystal™ LCD display (1366 x 768)
Intel® HD Graphics
Mobile Intel® HM70 Express chipset

Average passmark is: 1450.

I have a laptop with AMD E-350 with Win7 64bit but it glitches with the controller and also the display, even though the passmark is: 725.

I have an old laptop with Intel Celeron M 440 with WinXP Pro 32bit. It runs ok with DJ Intro without a fuss with passmark: 439.



Will the computer works with DJ Intro with the specs above?

Your AMD machine isn't working right because AMD processors aren't supported.

That ASUS is basically just a netbook. It's woefully underpowered for Intro, and way under the minimum specs.

You might get lucky, like with your old Celeron machine, but I'd say there's no point buying something which 'might' work.

Wait until you can afford a few hundred bucks more and get yourself a laptop with a Core i3 chip (minimum). Preferably an i5, and preferably at least 4gb of ram.
