62 Headphone output really bright

feelthemusic 5:57 PM - 11 July, 2012
I find the headphone output to be really bright sounding on the 62 mixer, like it is colored to have a-lot of upper midrange, and not all that much bass. Is it just me and my mixer, or something. I would like to hear some other opinions on this.

Anyone else having a similar experience?

I did have a 57 though, which sounded more balanced to me.

It's like the bass is turned down, when I crank it, I don't get what I would expect.

I agree with you. Seems to be lacking a balanced sound in the headphones. And I am also one of the ones that complained about the volume being low compared to the 57 also , so what do I know.

ditto.... I usually dont pass 10O'Clock on the 57 headphone knob.
the first night on the 62 I was past 1, with no THUMP.
