I am helping a friend set up there rane 57...all channels are active and live but there is no sound coming from the right channel. It reads on the volume on the l.e.d. display but so active sound... I have hooked my mixer up (rane 57) and it works fine....could this be a manufacture defect.

Hi there truesoundsentertainment,
When you say "It reads volume on the L.E.D display but no active sound" what LED display are you talking about? The one on the TTM57SL or the one in Scratch LIVE?
Are you able to hear sound coming through the headphones when you have the headphone cue set to master?
Check these few things:
1) Check the "Fader 2 Reverse" button above the right fader is not selected.
2) Check the "PGM 2" input switch up the very top of the TTM57 is set to "2"
3) Check the PGM 2 gain is at a reasonable level (about half way)
Take a photo of your friends TTM57 (a nice big photo showing all the knobs) so I can check to see you have everything set up the way it should be. Attach it to this thread using the "Attach a File" button on the left.
Cheers :)
