Can somebody please assist me, as said before when opening serato Itch all of my crates are present however the first off of the crates are empty, and the remainder of crates have their music in them. Can someone tell me how to fix this. Another thing i realize is that serato automatically organized my crates in alphabetical order is that normal?

I'd be happy to help you with your issue.

Are you using an external HD?
If a crate contains files from more than one drive, the ordering is saved incorrectly when sorted by the # column.

If you deleted the file - neworder.pref in the Serato folder on either your internal or external HD this would cause your crates to sort themselves alphabetically.

Okay thats cool..but my main concern is why are my crates present in itch but the songs are no longer present?...the first 10 crates are present but no songs are in them and every crate after that is okay all the contents are in them... So i need to know how to get the music back into my crates because the crate is present....I really do not want to create the playlist all over to put in each crate...Thanks and i await your response...

Are you using more than one external HD?

Try transferring your crates to you internal HD and see if that helps..

Once you've done that you could try renaming/deleting the neworder.pref file in the Serato folder and start from scratch :) Bear in mind that will re sort your crates in alphabetical order..

i am not using any external hard drive all of the music is on the internal drive...so now wat do i do?

I think the first thing would be to update your version of Scracth Live. You are using an older version that might be the cause

I would then analyze all files and delete any corrupt files.
