LOL there's this one bar that I used to play, way on the outskirts of the city, to the point where it was like a different time zone (geographically and musically). I hated the gig but it was filling in for a DJ who looked out for me all the time, and the owner would only allow me to fill in, he was very particular.

Anyway, it was one of those places that had a tiny dance floor area with railings, and the rest tables, people would dance for their song and go sit back down, real annoying shit when trying to build, you had to wait for them to get drunk and around midnight you'd get a floor. but I'd be there from 9:30 on the mic basically pleading for a request, I didn't give a fuck what it was just needed some sort of interaction from these hicks.
