I'm looking to upgrade my laptop and had a question about connections. Will the TTM57SL work via USB 3.0 and if not will it work with a powered USB hub?

It will not work on a Hub. I have had some users complain about USB 3.0 ports. Does the computer also have USB 2.0 ports? If so, I would connect to that port.

The TTM57SL is USB 1.1

it has 2 2.0 and 2 3.0 but unfortunately I'm also using a pair of denon 3700's which won't work via 3.0 or USB hub

Hmm, the Denons should work on the Hub as long as its powered...
